Wool naturally has self-cleaning properties; hanging out in the air will refresh the scarf. If required, handwash (preferably spot-clean) using mild wool detergent and air dry horizontally. Don’t use fabric softener.  Don’t tumble dry. Don’t apply iron directly on the fabric; use a cool iron or steam iron without touching the fabric.
